Kat Neff has spent more than 20 years helping mind, body, and spirit authors and publishers bring transformational work to the readers who need it. Her entry into MBS publishing was anything but accidental — a lifelong fascination with spiritual thought and the world's major spiritual movements led her naturally to a corner of publishing where the work genuinely matters to her. That personal investment shows up in everything she does.

Over her career, she has partnered with hundreds of authors — from debut voices to established names — and worked with publishers and imprints to generate thousands of media placements across print, digital, podcast, radio, and television. She knows the outlets, producers, and editors who champion this space, and she brings two decades of carefully cultivated relationships to every campaign she runs.

Her work goes beyond media relations. Kat comes in early, helps authors clarify their message and sharpen their positioning, and builds campaigns designed for the long arc of a career, not just a launch window.

More recently, she has earned certifications in AI prompt engineering and begun speaking to publishing and communications professionals about using AI as a natural, curiosity-driven partner in professional development. It is a timely conversation she is uniquely qualified to lead.

Kat serves on the Board of the Women's National Book Association, San Francisco Chapter, and is an active member of its Events Committee, which produces an ongoing educational series for writers.
